No donation is too small or too big—every contribution matters. Here are some ways your donation can make a difference for PCA Iowa.

  • Awareness Materials

    $50 can provide awareness materials for parents and caregivers—like bookmarks for an elementary school providing education on the signs and symptoms of children's mental health.

  • Prevention Resource Kits

    $75 can build adolescent sexual health resource kits to engage local prevention efforts, increasing access to safe sexual choices. These kits include sexual health resource information, tampons, STD/STI information, condoms and more.

  • Education

    $100 can educate one person in the Connections Matter curriculum, promoting a trauma-informed approach and resiliency among Iowa's kids.

  • Pinwheels

    $150 can provide 200 pinwheels for an Iowa community to plant a pinwheel garden and promote awareness of National Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Ways to Donate

Donate Through Your Tax Return

When you file your state income tax return, donate a portion of your refund or an additional amount owed to child abuse prevention. All contributions go to the Iowa Child Abuse Prevention Program, which benefits local services that educate and support families. Under the direction of Prevent Child Abuse Iowa, these services benefitted almost 5,000 families and over 40,000 children in Iowa in 2018.
